fish identification….dones anyone know what kind of fish this is?
I was at the beach the other day….I live in South Florida….and i saw this fish that was really cool but i have know idea what it was…..
The fish looked like and African butter fly with the little wing like fines…it was also about the size of one as well…the fishes body was blue on top and silver on bottom with blue silver and black on the wing fins….it also had big eyes..
I know its not a flying fish….the shape of the fish was wrong….I’ve looked in my fish books and on the internet and can not find this fish…
Does anyone know what it might be….
It may be a different species of flying fish. Maybe a ray, or chimaera? The big eyes thing makes me lean toward chimaera. Does it have a bulky head?
